Cameron & Will / Wedding Preview

Cameron & Will / April 27th, 2019

Wow- that’s the first word that comes to mind when I think of Will and Cameron’s wedding day.

I first met Cameron 10 or more years ago (which is wild to me) and have always been inspired by his journey and spirit. He met Will after living in New York City for a few years, and the rest is history! When I learned they were engaged, I knew the wedding would be out of this world.

The sight of fresh florals and the sound of a choir filled the Wightman Chapel at the Scarritt Bennett Center. Watching the both of them tear up got me in the best way! Then Cameron’s parents’ toast during the reception at Cheekwood made me REALLY tear up too. “Cameron, you’ve always followed your gut. That used to scare us to death. I prayed over you when you were little, most nights, that God would lead you to the person He’d have you to marry. Being perfectly candid, this wasn’t what I expected. But it’s okay- because you followed your gut.”

I’m so grateful to film weddings like these, and to celebrate a love like this. Take a peek into Cam and Will’s wedding preview now!

SONUS at the Nashville Parthenon

Another collaboration with SONUS is another chance to create some magic. Take a look at their performance of "The Spheres" by Ola Gjeilo, this time amidst the nearly 42-ft gilded sculpture of Athena at the Parthenon in Nashville. A chance to hear this and other songs live is not something you should pass up- tickets to their performance at the Echo: Chamber Music Series are available now!

Thank you to Centennial Park Conservancy, Metro Nashville Parks and Recreation, and Sarah Michele Bailey for your contributions in making this recording possible. More from this video series coming your way soon!

Aaron & Morgan Vibbert / Wedding Preview

Aaron & Morgan Vibbert / November 10th, 2018

When you watch Aaron and Morgan’s preview of their wedding day, you’ll see that celebrating them is nothing but a breeze! Their Old Woolen Mill venue in Cleveland, TN served a fun challenge for us to combine the look of an urban environment with traditional wedding details and an autumn setting. Meeting and creating with them was so easy, and watching them smile with each other brought out nothing but the best.

During their first look, Morgan and Aaron shared private vows with each other- vows that made them laugh AND cry- that made a perfect narration of their love story. I’m so grateful for intimate moments like these with my couples. Taking time alone to be together can take a traditional wedding highlight film from good to great. Take a look!

Mark & Kaylon Jamieson / November 3rd, 2018

"I never dreamed of this day. I never believed I deserved a day like this before I met you." Mark and Kaylon's wedding day was more than a perfect day. It was the beginning of the journey of a lifetime. As a friend of the couple, I can't stop listening to their vows to each other- so tender, personal, and perfectly stated. Somewhere along the way, I teared up myself! As you watch the Jamiesons' wedding film, I hope you can feel the connection they share between themselves, as well as among their friends and family. Take a look!

Thanks to Alyssa of Loomis Films, who filmed this day while I got to be a part of the wedding party. This film could not have happened without you!

The Unintended Victims of Domestic Violence

In conjunction with the YWCA of Nashville & Middle Tennessee, I was honored to help tell the stories of the impact domestic violence has on families and our community. The family members of Lexus Harper, Suzanne and Crystal Daugherty, and Letitia Lane who shared their stories were so lovely to meet, and I’m grateful for their willingness to tell their stories, alongside the inspiring Rusty Powell.

If you or a loved one needs help, please contact our 24-hour Crisis & Support Helpline 1-800-334-4628 or visit the YWCA website.
